ROSIE THE WONDER DOG

ULTRA BETA RESTORES SHITZU TO HEALTH

Susan Robinson is a devoted animal lover. Many a waif and stray finds itself into her house in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex.  Rosie was one of them.  At first she was just an elderly Shitzu in need of a lot of love. Little did Susan realise that when she fell ill she was to make medical history.

“Rosie arrived with sister Treacle about three years ago,” says Susan. “They settled in well and my two large dogs accepted them.  In fact, they were soon strolling around as if they owned the place. Even though Rosie had arthritis she enjoyed her walks and indeed, life in general until January 2004 when she started going off her food.

I took her to my vet in early February and she was diagnosed as having teeth and gum problems. She underwent a number of extractions but, a week later, was still not eating properly.

Alarm bells began to ring.  I have enough experience with animals to know this is not a good sign. I took her back to the vet in mid February, therefore, and they took blood tests.

The phone went the following morning with the news that there was a high lymphocyte count which pointed to cancer of the lymph nodes. From that diagnosis, the vet predicted that Rosie probably only 2-6 months.   I can’t describe how I felt! You move from having a healthy little dog to one you are going to lose in the space of a few days. It was unthinkable.

I wasn’t going to give up that easily.  I discussed and discarded the route of chemotherapy.  By now she had been put on steroids; a great bunch of enlarged nodes in her throat was constricting her ability to swallow.  Then my sister and I thought of Robert Redfern and the excellent products of Good Health Naturally.

I talked to him in early March and he responded in his typically swift and helpful way, providing a list of those supplements he advised might be useful. I decided to go for Ultra Beta, Protease and Beta Carotene.  At last I felt I might have something that could actually prolong her life and give it a far better quality.

The vet suggested the appropriate dosages for such a small dog and Rosie started on her supplements, taking them every other day. She was still quite ill when I returned to the vets at the end of March. For an anxious month IO continued giving her both the steroids and the supplements. Imagine my delight when at the end of April the vet discovered the lymph nodes had shrunk allowing her to breathe more easily.

Since then we have gradually decreased the steroids and by August my little dog was pronounced ‘in remission’. Of course I was pleased buy imagine my absolute amazement when I took Rosie for a blood test at the beginning of October. It came back completely normal!

During October therefore we have radically reduced the steroids and within the next month hope to cut them out completely. The vet has read the Good Health Naturally information with great interest.

Personally, I really believe that the high immune boosters recommended by Robert have prevented Rosie from developing the fatal infections that go with this kind of disease.  They have truly had an amazing effect and I would urge other animal owners to try the route I have taken.
